panel of judges from the industry then deliberated and chose WPL as the winner
in this category.
The nominations for WPL included praise for the quality of
their products together with outstanding customer service throughout the
company from pre-sales right through to delivery. One Merchant said, “I wish to express my appreciation for your
prompt handling of my orders, your service is recognisably efficient and professional,
and in this modern world stands out as a shining example of days in which the
maxim ‘Service’ no longer exists.”
This award is a testimonial to how working in partnership
with the merchants has been at the core of WPL’s success, in particular through
their merchant dedicated field sales team.
WPL was established
in 1991. Serving a number of markets, including domestic and commercial, WPL is
one of the largest UK
manufacturers and suppliers of sewage treatment plants and rainwater harvesting
systems. A reputation for supplying high quality products and services,
WPL has achieved accreditations including ISO: 9001, 14001, 18001, and Investor
in People.
Since 2008, WPL has
had a merchant policy for domestic sewage treatment plants and rainwater
harvesting systems. A complete company restructure was undertaken and a new
sales and marketing team with builders’ merchants and construction industry
experience was recruited.
This has enabled WPL to focus on providing the best customer
service possible to the merchants and their customers from sales advice to site
visits and fast, direct to site deliveries.
