The Project
Tithe Barn is located in the famous village of Borley not far from the mysterious Borley Rectory, which is famous for the legend of a monk and a nun who fell in love. The forbidden couple cruelly died and are now said to be haunting the area. Sicher Properties converted the barn, first build in the 15 th century into a modern, luxurious three bedroom living space, situated it beside Borley church.
The Problem
Due to the village being of main drainage, Sicher Properties had to consider different possibilities of water treatment solutions. The solution had to cater for a three bedroom property and as the garden space is limited a septic tank was not an option but a compact and odourless system was required.
The Solution
The chosen product was the WPL Diamond because of its reduced soak-away requirement, odourless treatment, low maintenance and cost efficiency. The plant ensures discreet water treatment for complete peace of mind. The Diamond is CE marked and type tested in accordance to EN 12566-3 2005, the new standard covering wastewater treatment plants, making it fully compliant with UK Building Regulations
Sicher Properties Director, Robert J. Notley, quotes “the plant is perfect for the setting. Due to limited space the plant had to be installed closer to the house then usually set out in building regulations and this was possible due to its compact size and odour-free nature”. Mr Notley has been very pleased with the plant and its efficiency and pointed out “I never had any trouble with the Diamond”. He is now using it on all his projects after enduring with other brands.
