WPL LAUNCHES ITS NEXT GENERATION OF RAINWATER HARVESTING SOLUTIONS TO THE UK.
WPL is proud to launch a revolutionary range of CARAT rainwater harvesting solutions throughout June at Grand Designs (London Excel), The BBC Good Homes Show (NEC) and the National Home Building & Renovating show (Newbury).
Developed by Otto GRAF Gmbh, Europe number one supplier of rainwater harvesting solutions, the Carat tanks have been developed from Duralen, a new material created solely for GRAF. The tanks are highly robust with a unique life expectancy and can be easily recycled. The Carat tanks are available as garden or home systems, available in sizes from 3700ltr up to 6500ltr as single units. Tanks can also be connected together for larger storage needs.
The Carat is the only tank available which can be shipped in two halves, allowing up to 10 times the number of units on a single transporter, directly reducing the amount of vehicle emisions produced through transportation. Other unique features include a twistable and extendable turret for simple pipe-work connection during installation.
Water shortage is a major concern and rainwater harvesting has been established as an efficient tool to help saving water and recycle natural resources during looming water shortages. Rainwater harvesting provides water during hosepipe bans, reduces the strain on the environment, and may add value to your property, particularly with the Homebuyers Pack coming into practice in June. Replacing up to 50% of typical water consumption, rainwater harvesting will quickly pay for its self.
The market is developing fast and the UK is learning from countries like Germany who have over thirty years of experience in the field.
