At WPL we design and manufacture wastewater treatment plants, so we know them inside and out. With more than 20 years' experience providing service and support, we have a quantifiable reputation for quality expertise and rapid response from our customer-focused service team. Our British Water accredited service engineers support your plant and ensure that you consistently meet Environment Agency discharge standards.
WPL offers on-site service and maintenance contracts for:
- WPL HiPAF sewage treatment plants
- WPL microscreens
- WPL pump stations feeding to/from wastewater treatment plants
- Wastewater treatment plants from other manufacturers (subject to initial inspection)
We do not offer service contracts for our Diamond sewage treatment plants, but are happy to recommend a contractors near to you.

WPL's service engineers are all fully accredited to the new British Water scheme, in
co-operation with the Environment Agency. This rigorous standard involves a comprehensive training programme which, on completion, earns each engineer the title of 'Qualified Service Engineer' from British Water. This accreditation guarantees that WPL's service engineers are dedicated to providing high quality, reliable service and fulfilling their environmental duties when maintaining sewage treatment plants.

Authentic WPL parts
When you take out a WPL maintenance contract, you can rest assured that we will always have the right parts for your plant. If we should need to replace anything, we will always use genuine spares and complete the work with the minimum of interruption. All spare parts carry the WPL warranty.
WPL service contracts
WPL's service team offers maintenance plans for different types of treatment plants. Our engineers have all been awarded the 'Qualified Service Engineer' accreditation by British Water, so you can rest assured that they will deliver the best quality service every time.
Your service package will comprise an all-year preventative maintenance service plan to provide you with total peace of mind. Choose from:
- standard fixed price annual contract
- 2 year plus contract
- fully inclusive contract
Standard contract
Renewed on an annual basis, our standard contract offers a set number of site visits per year, together with on-site plant health checks, sludge testing and blower and pump maintenance.
2 year plus contract
Fix your standard 1 year contract price for 2 years and get some great additional benefits, including a 10% discount on replacement parts and the ability tailor your contract to meet site requirements. We will also manage your plant
de-sludging using local contractors.
Fully inclusive contract
For complete peace of mind, our fully inclusive, fixed rate, 5 year contract includes all the features in our 2 year plus contract plus plant optimisation, capital investment to reduce running costs (where required) and remote monitoring to ensure your plant remains fully compliant.
